Laser Cutting in Egypt
Laser cutting and engraving in Cairo
SolidForms runs 2 industrial CO2 laser cutters alongside our 3D print farm in Nasr City, Cairo. We cut and engrave clean, precise parts from sheet materials, for single pieces or full production runs.
Materials we laser cut
- Acrylic (plexiglass): clear and coloured, with polished, flame-finished edges.
- MDF and plywood: for models, boxes, furniture prototypes and decor.
- Cardboard and paper: for architecture models and packaging tests.
- Leather and fabric: for patches, tags and accessories.
We also laser engrave logos, names and artwork on wood, acrylic and leather.
CO2 lasers do not cut metal. For metal-like strength, ask us about carbon fibre 3D printing materials.
What people use our laser cutting for
- Architecture models: facades, site bases and contour models, often combined with 3D printed parts. See architecture models in Egypt.
- Signs and displays: acrylic signs, shop displays and name plates.
- Packaging and boxes: prototypes and small runs.
- Gifts: engraved names, logos and keepsakes. See gifts.
- Graduation projects: see graduation project printing.
