Pricing Components:

1️⃣ Material Cost

  • Real filament used (in grams) × material price per kilogram
  • Example: PLA+ costs ~650 to 900 EGP/kg → 0.5 kg = 390 EGP material cost

2️⃣ Printer Runtime Cost

  • Each printer’s hourly cost includes electricity, maintenance, labor:
  • Example: 100 EGP/hour for FDM printer
  • A 10-hour print = 1000 EGP

3️⃣ Post-Processing

  • Time spent removing supports, sanding, assembling parts
  • Usually 5–20% of printing time cost, depending on complexity

4️⃣ Bulk Discounts

  • Multiple parts are calculated individually, but time savings from batch printing are applied automatically
  • Discounts apply for 2+ identical parts

5️⃣ Rush Job Fee

  • Optional: small % extra for jumping the queue (usually 5–15% depending on urgency)
