What is SolidForms?
SolidForms is a registered professional 3D printing and laser cutting company based in Cairo, Egypt, operating a large-scale 3D print farm and fabrication studio.
Where is SolidForms located?
We are located in Nasr City, Cairo, Egypt.
Clients are welcome to visit us in person, and we also offer nationwide delivery across all Egyptian governorates.
Is SolidForms a registered company?
Yes. SolidForms is a legally registered company in Egypt.

When did SolidForms start operating?
SolidForms has been operating under its current name since July 2024, following earlier operations under the name Delta.egy 3D Printing.
What are your working hours?
We operate:
- Daily from 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM
- Closed on Fridays

We specialize exclusively in FDM (Fused Deposition Modeling) 3D printing using industrial Core-XY and large-format machines.

Can you handle multiple jobs at the same time?
Yes. Our print farm is designed for parallel production, making us ideal for urgent orders and batch printing.

Quality & Accuracy
Do you inspect printed parts?
Yes. Every printed part is visually inspected before delivery.
What if there is a defect?
We reprint defective parts, even if the defect is extremely minor or barely noticeable.
Do you offer tolerances?
When parts need to fit together, we apply the SolidForms Tolerance Standard, which we explain and agree on with the customer before printing.
Files & Design
What file formats do you accept?
We accept only the following formats:
Do files need to be print-ready?
It depends on:
- File quality
- Geometry
- Intended function
We review every file before printing.
Do you offer design services?
Yes. We offer full “from the ground up” design services, including:
- CAD modeling
- Design for 3D printing
- Functional optimization
Turnaround & Deadlines
How fast is your turnaround time?
Turnaround depends on size and material, but we are usually among the fastest in the market.
Many jobs are completed same day if technically feasible.
Do you accept urgent or rush orders?
Yes. Rush jobs are accepted, usually with a small “jumping the line” fee.
Do you prioritize academic deadlines?
Yes. Submission and jury deadlines are prioritized, especially for students.

Batch Orders & Production
Is there a minimum order quantity?
No. There is no MOQ (minimum order quantity).
Do you offer bulk discounts?
Yes. Large quantities receive significant bulk discounts.
Can you reprint parts months later?
Yes. We can reproduce parts identically, even months later, using saved profiles and settings.
Pricing & Payment
How is pricing calculated?
Pricing is based on:
- Print time
- Material weight
Both factors are considered for fair and accurate pricing.

Is there a minimum order value?
Yes. The minimum order value is 20 EGP.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept:
- Cash
- Vodafone Cash
- Mobile Wallets
- InstaPay
- Bank Transfer
When is payment required?
- Orders under 2000 EGP: payment after printing
- Orders over 2000 EGP: 50% deposit required before printing
Delivery & Packaging
Do you offer delivery?
Yes. We offer:
- In-studio pickup
- Courier delivery
- Nationwide delivery across Egypt
How are parts packaged?
We provide protective packaging when required, including:
- Bubble wrap
- Cardboard boxes
Who is responsible if a courier damages the part?
SolidForms takes full responsibility if a part is damaged during courier delivery.
Students & Education
Do you work with students?
Yes. We work regularly with students from all faculties, including architecture, engineering, and design.
Do you offer student discounts?
Yes. We offer a 10% student discount.
Industrial & Commercial Clients
Do you work with startups and factories?
Yes. Our regular clients include:

Do you keep files confidential?
Yes. All files and intellectual property are kept strictly confidential.
Can you sign NDAs?
Yes. NDAs are available upon request.
Restrictions & Boundaries
Are there parts you do not print?
Yes. We do not print:
- Weapons or weapon-related parts
- Food-contact parts
Are printed parts cosmetic or functional?
Both. Parts can be cosmetic or fully functional, depending on material and design.
